Sewer Line Replacement
When a sewer line’s clog can not be cleared or a pipe is broken, sewer line replacement is necessary. Sewer pipes left in disrepair could cause flooding and groundwater contamination, representing a serious environmental hazard. Sewer line repairs are typically performed using the "open cut" or "trench" method to gain access to the area surrounding the damaged portion of the pipe. A backhoe may be used to open and refill the work area.
Sewage Ejector Systems
A sewage ejector system is essentially a mini-septic tank. A toilet, sink, shower/bath and washing machine can drain into these holding tanks, which pumps the waste up and into the home's drainage lines.
The sewage-ejector system is a waste removal option that does not require cutting through concrete. These systems are typically housed within an enclosure with the toilet sitting on top. Because sewage-ejector units sit above ground, fixtures like toilets and showers or baths will have to be elevated about six inches to gravity-drain into the tank.
